Western Health Advantage is seeking a Senior Business Solutions Analyst to support business and systems analysis across the CORE Department and Information Technology teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, leading cross-functional initiatives, and improving business processes in a healthcare environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead business analysis, requirements definition, and documentation for CORE initiatives and intake requests
- Perform data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development to support operational and strategic decisions
- Track, trend, and report data for internal leadership, Board of Directors, regulatory agencies, and key performance indicators
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend solutions to improve data quality and process efficiency
- Manage or support projects including planning, design, testing, implementation, and delivery
- Facilitate workgroups and governance committees to drive initiatives forward
- Develop process documentation, user guides, and training materials
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and support system enhancements
- Perform testing and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and functionality of solutions
- Maintain awareness of healthcare industry regulations, technologies, and best practices
- Communicate project status and updates to leadership, team members, and stakeholders
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare (HMO preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, data analytics, business intelligence, or IT project management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project leadership skills
- Experience with data reporting, process improvement, and requirements gathering
- Knowledge of continuous quality improvement (CQI) principles
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (certification is a plus)
- Ability to work with complex systems, databases, and intermediate programming concepts
- Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and other business software applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
